I dont understand your problem with castling. I love chess, love castling and love the castling rules in Fischer Random. I think your ideas are wrong, and will not be accepted. Which is why no one cares about grand chess .. I prefer gothic much more even though I really just like chess and 960. All you chess variant people seem to dislike the normal game so much.

Where has my Havannah ranking gone? A few years ago I played a number of games of Havannah, yet today I see that I no longer appear in the rankings list.

Ratngs (as well as registrations) are removed from our database after one year (or two if you're established) of inactivity. This is, of course, to keep things clean.

Nice! Maybe you should add http://www.mathpuzzle.com and http://www.puzzlepicnic.com to your link section. They are my personal favourites.

Great site. I liked some of your logos and icons. Have you considered having them silk screen printed onto t-shirts? I'd buy one of the brain with legs.

hi, I was hoping to try out Grand Chess here, but the pieces are way too small, and of almost zero contrast with respect to board.

Do you really think so?

Castling is a means to an end and its application is very appropriate in Chess - I've never said otherwise -
but not so in Grand Chess.
I have no problem with castling, if and when its implementation is appropriate.
