Ossetian Draughts is a kind of upgraded Alquerque.
| Rules
The diagram shows the board and the pieces in initial position. There are two players, black and white. White begins. Players move, and must move, in turn.
Moving
- A man moves one point straight or diagonally forwards. There is no promotion: if it reaches the opponent's backrank it can no longer move, but it may still capture.
- Capture is not compulsory and majority capture does not precede. A man captures by the short leap in any straight or diagonal direction. Multiple captures are possible and a chosen capture must be completed.

Object
If a player has no legal move he loses the game. This may come about either by being eliminated or being blocked completely.
Since there are no cycles, the game cannot end in a draw.
