In Emergo the fun is in the playing, because tactics are so mindboggling and so much relies on strategical intuition rather than precise calculation.
To some extend one can calculate the outcome of tactical engagement, but no player is beyond 'getting lost' here. Problems can most likely be made so complex that they're humanly almost impossible to solve.
