Chess+
Chess+ emerged as an ad hoc co-invention by Nick Bentley and Christian Freeling, out of dissatisfaction with Chess960, Bobby Fischer's blunt 'solution' to the preparation problem that increasingly defines top level play. I've written about it in About Chess+
